Er. C.D. Gupta was an eminent Civil Engineer who worked with C.P.W.D. for around forty
years in various capacities. He possessed extensive knowledge across almost all subjects
of Civil Engineering. He was a Fellow of The Institution of Valuers, a Member of The
Institution of Engineers, and a Member of The Indian Road Congress. He authored the
Water Supply Handbook and the Sewerage Handbook.

Advisor to Hon'ble Minister of Water, Govt. of NCT of Delhi
Er. V.K. Gupta currently serves as Advisor to Hon'ble Minister of Water, Govt. of NCT of
Delhi. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee)
and obtained his Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Delhi College of
Engineering (now Delhi Technological University). He also holds an L.L.B. from Delhi
University, an M.B.A. in Disaster Management from I.P. University, and a P.G. Diploma in
Design and Construction of Concrete Structures from Annamalai University. With 31 years
of experience in Water Supply and Sewerage, he is MIE, MIPHE, MIWWA, and C.Eng.
He has authored the Water Supply Handbook and the Sewerage Handbook.
